Going to Belgium....

I'll be in Brussels from Feb 8 through Feb 14.

I guess I have one or two evenings off to check out the city. is there anyone here who can give me hints regarding what to see, where to eat, what and where to drink?

It doesn't have that much beauty. Only the inner city is worth to take a look, especially the Grote Markt. But don't eat or drink there! Much more expensive then even a few streets away.

The museum at the Grote Markt is about the history of Brussels. If you like that kind of musea, that one is certainly worth a visit! It's only €3.

Don't forget Manneken Pis!

And make sure to visit a local pub and drink the local beers.
Also everyone going to Belgium should buy chocolate.

A little bit away from the centre you have great places to eat and drink. Try the Belgian cuisine.
