Won 1-2 and 4-0, which sees me at an 8-0-0 record for league games this season. With 9 points ahead of the no2, Snaken are looking for direct promotion to the III this season.

Won at home vs the league leader but was unlucky away. Could have won but lost 4-1.
6 points from top means I probably won't promote...

Lost 3-6 at home and then 4-0 on the road. I've been having a terrible string of injuries, including after round 8 I had 5 players with multiweek injuries (sold the 4 wk and the other 4 are down to 1 wk, must say the timing couldn't have been better for my team though, feel very fortunate they didn't happen in the cup run and should be healed by crunch time).
Avoiding relegation is possible, but tough as I will almost certainly lose every match until at least week 12.

I won 0-6 and 8-0 vs a bot. My mains rivals had to fight it out in direct matches and Haz Dorp won twice. Trailing me 5 points this team is the only threat left for me to promote.

I'm in a downward spiral. Lost both weeks. Auto-relegation is almost inevitable. I'm wondering if it's worth it to try to stay up in div 5

Given my how hard I'm struggling, I completely empathize as to whether it is worth it to stay in Div V. I'd argue that you should at least try, as you aren't in a terrible league (If macabi replaced me, he'd likely be in 6th or 7th in my league) and the new fan formulas should help.
Beating JP team (very reasonable, even on the road) would give you the easy path to a qualifier, which you should win. Something you may want to do is retool now, selling off your big midfielders for more sustainable players while their value is still high. You probably should be in a survive and retool phase of your team with an expected push in 2-3 seasons given the players you have (IMHO).
