Default CIV4 ***SPOILER*** Rock On PBEM

So, if your name is grahamiam or BCLG100: Get out!

It's gonna be a locked war game, with Matrix and myself against grahamiam and BCLG100...

Yes, but nothing else, unfortunately...

What if 2 civs meet the same civ first ?
(I mean: you meet Matrix and then Grah meets Matrix as Grah's first civ?)

Haven't got a clue...
BCLG100 met grahamiam (at least, that's what I conclude from the posts in the Opponent Finding forum thread), so I guess I'll team up with Matrix.

OK, this one's gonna restart with the correct settings. Permanent alliances on, etc....

The (re)start:

92.8KB

Basically, I'm not very happy with this! No resources, and only 2fpt, so I'll most likely be the slowest grower in the game...

My start isn't so great either:

And here is the total map:

Apparently we know the top, bottom and left border, so grahamiam and BCLG100 should be somewhere in the northeast, probably much closer to each other than we are. That means Darkness will probably be the one catching all the blows.

Let's use this thread to discuss strategy too, Darkness. So far we haven't done that really, but it wasn't that necessary. But I thought that it would be nice to have a religion on our hands, so that's why I've started on Mysticism. However, with all the flood plains, I could use pottery as well for cottages.

Agreed. Pottery would be good.
I have no resources nearby, so I really need to scout some more to try and find more resources.

I know. BCLG100 already visited me with a scout. Fortunately I finished my first warrior two turns before I spotted him. Now I have to keep that warrior for MP/protection, because that scout is still in the area. But that means I can't scout as much as I like (and I really need to do that!)

But a scout can't capture a city, so you're free to go.
