Posting Polls
How come I could set up a poll here but I cannot, as far as I can see, in my own forum?

You need to activate polls in your forum settings. Click the folder and pencil icon and enable polls.

thanks PP
however I didnt realise until I did what you said that I had only asked half the question. What I actually wanted to do was to have a poll within a thread (that is already up and running), but all I seem to be able to do is to start a new thread/topic if I set up a poll. This makes sense normally probably; it just isnt exactly what I wanted - still never mind. |

Well it's like you already guessed, it's not possible to start a poll in an existing thread. Polls start a new thread by default. Nothing I can do about that since that would require decent asp programming skills and a thorough insight on the forum programming structure. Both of them I lack
