Spoiler - 8 player game

So i've been rejoining this game as a replacement player.

Essentially, i'm improving the countryside, building temples and an army of bowmen.

There is iron, not too far, and horses rather near; in the south, a gem source have been spotted, but i think that the japanese will be there before me. By the way, i've had my first (diplomatic) clash, with Japan (position SW of mine) because he was fully exploring my territory.

I've heard of some kind of alliances between Japan and Greece (position W of mine), and so i think that sooner or later, they shall attack me, unless someone else distract them. we'll see.

I've managed to catch some ivory, near Akad (North-W); i'm preparing a town to take the gems near Ashkur (South); i'm building my first swordsmen; i'm finishing two temples and begans a serious military program.

I'm at war with Japan, since he refuse to stop scouting my territory. Thx to this, i'm in a golden age.

I'm preparing a town to be built near Matsuyama, on a hill near the japanese border. I hope that with my culture i'll be able to annoy him, if not make his town switch.

Japan shall probably take over me easily as soon as they have their Samurais. I shall try to build some defenses (Walls, fortress, ...), but i'm skeptical.

Annares seems to be an experienced warmonger player ...
