IRIGY - ERIKK I SPOILER THREAD
Version: C3C 1.15
Map: Standard map: Continents, normal climate + temperature and 5 billion Diff: Emperor light (Emperor with 2 settlers for the humans) player 1: Erikk, Hittites player 2: Irigy, Carthagians 6 ai's My start: 48.46KB Our mapmaker gave me a rather though start, but hey, it is emperor with two settlers for the human. I ought to able to handle this. Once the trees are gone this looks like a production rich region! |

Don't forget that trees are cheap to chop in C3C and are now even more valuable as shields early on in the game.

turn 45
I was wrong about the production richness. Under every tree there is just plain grassland! If have chopped loads of trees now. I build 2 workers and 4 warriors first in the two cities and then 2 granaries. Meanwhile my scout got killed when the very first barb camps showed up... There are lots of barb stacks around my territory. So I still only have contact with England but I am sure some ai will show up in a while. With the mined gold I can do my own research and sell it to the English. I went for writing, horseback and now iron working. I forgot to go for philosofy! Doh, that was stupid! Well, at least I know I have horses and soon I know where the iron is... I lack in score but have 2 settler factories producing warrior-settler combo's. 75.14KB |

Turn 61: The English demand 17 gold. It is all I have and I am running -1. There are about 6
English warriors in my territory (we have a ROP), near workers and cities... I give in and lose the granary in my capitol! Fucking AI!!! Earlier in the game I met the Byzantines and got (still) Philo, with CoL as a free tech. What are Irigy and the ai's doing? This was enough to get on par again with the 2 ai's. Currently researching Republic at full speed. I think Irigy is at war with an ai or his ai's are fighting each other. He was ahead in score till now. I recently passed him. If we do have exactly the same continent I wonder with his approach has been. |

This game is moving very slowly. I finally contacted Irigy some days
ago when he suddenly was online on MSN - after he did sent anything in months - and he told me suffered from some emailblocking by his profider, unable getting my emails anymore. He said he sent me emails telling me this but I recieved nothing. Somehow he did not got my emails asking wtf was going on... Anyway, we started again and I played my turn and I am waiting for a save again. It has been two days now and I wonder how long it will take This is a Monarch game and it is easy. I have attacked this turn just because I was bored. I havent finished upgrading all Chariots but dont care anymore. I took 4 of the 5 beseiged cities and had terrible dice (a couple of knights and Chariots got killed agains fortified warriors and stuff). I forgot to take an 'after' screenshot. I will do that once I get to play a turn again! Here are some pics that I managed to get uploaded today! 154.72KB 176.55KB |
