Sorry for the short rant I was nothing short of amazed when I saw this piece of info trotted out for every single problems you may have with the game. Best advice I can give you with speed issues on attacking a city (it can be quick!) is to play the entire game on 640x480 [  ]It aint pretty but it stops you throwing your laptop out a window...
