Or get an LCD that is OK at 60Hz. I'm running my at 70Hz but when it bounces at 60Hz to-from civ, it is still fine.

What I learnt today consists in two things :
- I can browse the Internet with Civ3 open and without harming my eyes more than necessary. - Firaxis decided it'd be best to decrease the monitor's frequency when playing Civ3 for whatever reason.
