Default Gems of War

I recently stumbled across a new puzzle game on Steam that's free to play and actually quite fun:

Gems of War

It's from the makers of Puzzle Quest and it features fantasy creatures and monsters that you fight based on the combinations that you make while puzzling on an 8x8 field.

I've been playing it for about a week now and it's quite addictive...

I saw you playing it and checked it out, but it doesn't appeal to me. Apparently it should be OK

The game is indeed very addictive. I've been playing it for some time. It is a bit silly though, too many things are completely broken. I've just beaten a level 200 (I am about 100-ish) without him able to make a single move.

IMO, you familiarize yourself and develop some tactics and strategies and it gets repetitive. But I still long in at least once daily for a 30 minute session. Their RNG is amazing and breaks the monotony sometimes with occasional surprises.
