Dell19 throwed the towel in our game a couple of days ago. Dell, must have been a sad week in your Civ career.

If this is in the right place (which it is most certainly not probably), I would like to sign up for the ladder - how do I do this? Again, I couldn't see a thread for signups...so pardon me if I shouldn't post here...or just beat me up.

As soon as you get a game started ( go to the challenges forum ) you can agree with the opponent(s) whether it is for the ladder or not. If so, you will appear on the ladder once you have submitted a "score". Oh, and welcome to the Duel zone!

Welcome and have a good time at CDZ Ginger Ale, just don't drink to much of that stuff. Fish are told to piss in it.
When you've found an opponent also post a Map Request in the Map Maping forum, I guess you've got that already.

Well OK, I was twice strange today, I think it's because I've read all your fun in the IDSG forum and now I wanna be funny... But I'm a bad joker... So Ginger_Ale, is it you who duplicated to 25 guests and tried to reply to old threads while not being registered ? Or is it your evil bots ? BTW, now that the ladder is dead, can we use this thread as a spam thread ? I also want to become the "official CDZ greetings guy" ; that means that, each time a new member comes here and posts, I'll greet him my way ! Can I ? OK, let's go dig some jokes in the yard...
