Well, my first 50 turns aren't this eventful. I have good news too though:

EDIT: yes, I know... Why did I irrigate the silk tile?

the idiotic Arabs attack across the river with an archer two turns later after I had fortified my warrior.
They lost him, doing 1 HP damage but promoting my Warrior

I managed to grab the Horse and the Wines in the north - Russia is not really expanding.......

It's weird to see what Killer is having to do in this game. I am only:

- expanding
- fighting barbs
- playing catch up in technology

gaarg! I keep clicking the *Spoiler* thread by mistake, then wonder where my posts ahve gone....

I am now at war with the Celts. They brought over ten units, mostly vet and elite warriors, but also 1 Archer and 1 Spear IIRC, then shadowdanced with me for a while. I could get them to walk around for a few turns by inforcing the towns they went for, but had to take the risk of having a new town defended by a vet warrior attacked by a conscript. Naturally, I lost and the town got razed. Also, I lost 23 HP all in all and won only 7 when their warriors were attacking mine, despite fortification and terrain boni.

Now, there doesn't seem to be any Celtic reinforcement (weird!). I will build enough troops to survive an onslaught, then sign for peace. I need to expand more.....

btw: will get reat Lib very very soon

Still no real shocking news to tell. I'm expanding. I'm at tech parity. I have very nice neighbours that want to trade and all like me. Can't wait for the Sipahi
