Not exactly the case. Many teams had been already kicked out of WC and looking for players for next season. But they are now looking for mostly 18-year-old players. Last season was indeed the one for 17-year olds. But there is always a chance especially with some small country with fewer players.

Since the start of the season I'm getting real crap out of my youth academy. There are two things that keep nagging:

1. they've nerfed the old system.
2. good youth pulls aren't randomly distributed, but some teams get better pulls than other. Is this changed every season, or am I screwed forever?

Today I got a GK with disastrous goalkeeping. Go figure.

Actually, I don't think they nerfed anything, however until last season your 2nd point was actually correct and the HTs have admitted this.

Due to the formula used to generate your pull, certain teams with specific team IDs got better pulls than others, to such a degree that the effect was noticed during extensive studies on YPs, and the issue was raised on the forum. Then, the HTs looked into this and had to give in, telling us their eternal mantra "this bug is now fixed"...

So it might be your team used to have one of the lucky IDs, but now your just getting regular stuff like all of us (used to) get.

Just to make shabba feel better, I have another solid pull, 3th this season, this time however it is a mainskill defending. Last itme it was solid SP with crap and the other solid passing with weak scoring. But I am confidnet I 'll make some money ont this.
