Whomp, Holland currently is 25.8 26.8 at that site, which is a bit far from what you posted. Other teams look very close to what you posted, so maybe it is a mistake ?

Do I understand correcty that going short is selling stock you don't have atm for todays price hoping you can buy that stock in the future for a lower price?

OK, as I understand it, we use just ONE daily value, the one you post, Whomp, right ? Also, I personally think that we could keep track of the decimal digit (since there will be only one in our game) ; everybody uses a calculator, so why not ?

For today :
Short 3 England @ 34.3 = 102.9 € (cash : 23 + 102.9 = 125.9 €)
Long 3 Germany @ 33.4 = 100.2 € (cash : 125.9 - 100.2 = 25.7 €)

[BTW, I sold 3 of my 6 England today, did I short them or sell them ?]

Status as of today : [do we have to update the value of our stock ? I will here]
Long 3 England @ 34.5 = 103.5 € (I bought them @ 34.0 each)
Long 3 Germany @ 33.4 = 100.2 € (bought them today)
Long 10 Holland @ 26.8 = 268 € (bought them @ 27.3 each)
Cash : 25.7 €

BTW I think we should allow trades once a day so I'll scratch out the 24/7 trading thing. It would get too complex.

Krys thanks for doing the maths and nice trades. I will adjust your account.

Tubby you are 7.30 euros in the hole. You have received a Whomper margin call for 7.30 cash. This means 1 of your U.S. units have been sold @ 8.60 to cover the deficit. Shorting a good team is a double edged sword Mister...and you got sliced. []

Whomp can you post at the bottom when you update the OP? I'm not sure how I got the 4.5 cash when I had 2 the other day.

Tubs I added decimals to all positions. I think everything is straight now.

From the BBC newsroom in London Nigel Fistinarse reporting..
In early afternoon trading on the floor of the CDZ Whomper Exchange ...
USA shares are rallying to 9.5 offer up +0.5
Brazil is down slightly 0.5 to 51.5 offer
Poland is very strong on the day up +0.7 to 12.5 offer
OZ shares are up to 6 offer and we may see a short squeeze and margin calls later in the day...and Germany has currently halted trading as they take a 2-1 lead at 37:11 on Miroslav Klose's....gooooooooaaaalllll!

Why did they stop trading Germany ? I don't get it... Costa Rica is still up for buying and selling...

Whomp, why can't we see your business in the OP ? Also, we should think of a simple way to display the actions of the day and the current status for each player in the OP...
