Automatic log in

The strangest thing (at least for a A-technical person like myself). I send a friend of mine the link to cdz for him to sign up in the cup and when he clicked on the link from his own pc with a complete different Ip address he was automatically logged in under my name?? (Which explains why there's a sign up under my name now for the cup)

if you have logged onto CDZ from your firends PC before, then perhaps a cookie was left behind.

Digger is right, seems our cookies are very persistent, I even had an instance where I couldnt log off anymore and had to delete all cookies just to log out off the forum.

I logged on once on our company server. After that all posts made on that server were mine, even when swingue was using it. I tried to log out but no succes. So I had to delete all cookies. Also sometimes I need to log on using a testuser to see if settings work correctly for non admins.

On my desktop and laptop I'm perfectly happy to log on automatically. Me lazy.
