Just a mention for the record: cdz was extremely slow on the 1st of jan. might be a coincedence with NYD.

It could also be because we moved to a new web server when we moved domain...
When we first got CDZ at danwilliamson.net it ran very slowly for a month or so before suddenly becoming much quicker. At the time I guessed they review each webserver every month and move high-traffic sites to faster and better machines. This would explain the slow response both then and now. On Monday I will try and get us moved to a better server by emailing the ISP, if indeed that is the problem. ![]()

I think its more of a DNS problem. Its Ok once I'm in - but it can take a while to connect.
