I'm not playing either due to mostly lack of interest and severe lack of time. I guess, getting opportunities for a job is a full time job on its own.

I have goten the game for X-mas. (Thanks to all beta testers)
For the moment I am quite please with the single player experience I get. I must admit that I have not gotten a "Only one more turn" feeling like this since I played Civ2. Why? I don't know. Maybe it is because it feels as a whole new game, not just a new version of previous version with a couple add-on. I still have to give it a couple plays at higher levels before giving it a real "thumbs up".

I used the holidays to try to get an archepelo space win with Washington at Emporer and it just didn't really work well. Units were very bunched up and the AI ICS'd the whole map, making for fairly annoying games. I may try again, but on a maximum land-mass style map.

Yes, the AI ICSing every available tile including no resource 1 tile islands gets pretty annoying.

I just beat Deity: cultural victory with Siam on a large archipelago map. 3 cities, Stonehenge, Sixtine Chapel, Christo Redentor and (because nobody built it) Sydney opera house as the finishing touch.

134/138 Still missing: - Last man standing (haven't played multi player yet) - Panzer Shafernator general (Have won only 50-60 games so far and this needs 100 - Tomb raider (this one is probably bugged, (or Egypt just doesn't build any burial tombs)) - Modern Major General (definately bugged, lancer doesn't register) Has any of you been able to trigger "Tomb Raider"? Or should I just consider it bugged, even though 0.3% of the CiV players on Steam has it?

I haven't tried it after my deity win, just because deity was pretty tedious. I'll try again after there's another big patch I guess.
