One question: why did you irrigate the grass in your capital?

The grass in my capital ? you mean on the north east side of the town. Well i'm not sure. It seems that it's not useful because of Despotism limit (am i wrong ? It's a small mistakein this case).

Let's say it's for our children.
It's also a special zone where our scientist experiment with boats, before launching them in the river, before sending them to the big blue. hey you can be seafaring and cautious ... :-)

As for the score, i'm stil ltrying to understand why and how i take the lead (in this game, which is not the case in other one)

Irrigation of the plains is useful, but you can also choose to mine them. Depends on the growth and shields you want to achieve there. I would have built Utica on the river, because now you need an aquaduct to grow above size 6. That is a shame, because it is an expensive improvement.
