Default Cloverfield

Anyone else seen it?

im about a third of the way through watching it so far- i'd go and watch this at the cinema but no-one wants to go with me as they've already seen it/no money/ too scared.


from what i've seen so far im loving it!

just me then- i saw the end of it and thought it was really really good!

apparantly they're making a sequel. whether they are or not who knows what with the secrecy to do with this movie.

i haven't seen it but it looks like a godzilla type movie. I'm guessing from your comment you would recommend it.

I saw the trailer. It was interesting, but to me it seemed just like another Godzilla movie with strange camera techniques. And considering I think Godzilla is one of the worst movies ever....

I think its a lot better done than a godzilla movie- the scaryness is more in the fact that you dont regularly see any monsters. I'd reccommend it

perhaps- why? dont get me wrong i'd gladly go and pay to watch this again at the cinema just no-one seems to want to go.

my understanding is that the camera angle in first person, like Blair Witch.

It is, imo a lot better than the blair witch tbh. Still grainy etc but this one is more defined and there isn't as much running around just watching feet as there is in that, admitedly there is some.

I had the nobody-goes problem myself with Rambo, sucked but that's life. My only Rambo buddy lives 300km South from here. Oh, and they only show the translated French version in Qc city, making the deal even worse.
