Depends on the laptop I guess... but there's a free demo on steam. Try it.

@BCLG, why don't you wanna install Steam? I think it's one of the less invasive and really convenient DRM solutions out there.

Because it's still an additional program on my computer that serves no purpose other than as a means to get something else. Can i download it, install the game then uninstall steam?

Nope, you need steam to run the game. You don't have to run it when your not running the game though.

EA games does, but that doesn't speak for them. Steam is the DRM du jour. It's also awesome.
