Default Continuing a tangent from another thread...

Ribbanah was dealt (on CFC) half-hidden and half-public which made her angry and allowed her to continue to lie, denying everything up to the end. She was banned (from CFC) and did not return there. Lots of people believed her and were lured into her lies for a time. She tried to come back at CDZ but as she kept pretending she did not cheat, she did not have a successful come-back.

Cracker did not cheat but was sort of like thrown out from CFC without any explanations, all his wrongdoings were edited, half the GOTM players still don’t know why he disappeared after a year of doing a brilliant job (IMHO). He willingly never came back at CFC.
I am not too familiar ornd knowledgeable about these two instances. I remember Ribannah's avatar and approximate postcount, but that's about it. Anyone want to tell me what that was?

As for cracker, does anyone know any details where the conflict between cracker and thunderfall lew?

There is a thread here (around December 2003) and a thread at CFC (in GOTM forum around GOTMs 19-21) about the whole issue with Ribbanah.

Why would you want to discuss these things? They are history IMO.

Cracker, Thunderfall and the CFC mods - and thats the way it stays.

Well akots, you could say I am curious.

Col, the civfantic's administration is starting to remind me of the CIA Does anyone who isn't a moderator over there know anything they'd like to share?

For Ribbanah, there were several rounds of discussions at CFC and one at CDZ (see below).

For cracker, the fact is that he did not answer my private questions and I thought I had a pretty good relation with him, so it seems that knowledge lies where col wrote.

Of course people from here and there may know bits and pieces but now it’s been all edited at this only surviving thread http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/to...92&whichpage=1 By the way, discussions regarding Ribbanah surfaced there as well.

As a general comment, the mutual understanding between admins is that things that remain hidden at CFC will not be openly discussed at CDZ so that’s where it stops. I’m not trying to open them just compare with the way CDZ is acting which is IMHO better.

I think we can be open about it, unless col has a valid reason not to be.

But there's no reason to gossip either.

@Yndy: Why don't we just let that one lie sleeping. People are only gonna repeat the same things over and over about 'Ribannah's case'....

No CIA style conspiracy - but what is discussed inside CFC mod forums stays there. Its a basic rule that means people can discuss things openly and can disagree with each other in private and I, for one, wont break that confidentiality.

Cracker left in the end because he felt that he was not getting the support from TF that he wanted.
