Its alright. I got Classical's email now. Moving my settler inland for somewhat of a core and better corruption management. I would advise the same unless Aztecs want to start in on writing. I think they can get there faster than me. If not I will do it and run a lot of scientists to get free philo tech.

I will settle on the barb hut, probably getting maps since this si deity but hopefully mysticism or something good, even a warrior would be decent. Are we on separate continents or do we know yet?

Why did you move away from the coast? You're seafaring, so staying on the coast would have made a lot of sense (in my mind anyway)...

Though there is no ring placement in C3C, having a centrally located capital is still very beneficial. The lessened distance corruption will let me have more production and commerce at size 12 in my core than i otherwise would have.

Instead of a half ring of cities around i can do a full ring now with the cap in the middle. At deity corruption will be a pain. A good example of moving a seafaring civ inland is in one of those International Friendly games over at CFC in the stories and tales forum; doing the same with england gave a much stronger research and production empire than settling coastal.

I can still use the cow and might find another food bonus to have a 4 turner.
