Nice game: try to hit as many Matarazzi's as you can.

Bad for France that Domenech signed for a few extra years. France needs a good coach that can guide a new generation to the next big tournaments. I see some real talent there...I just don't see Domenech do anything with it. Thoughts Krys?

Don Leo to Poland!! Though choice to guide a bleeding nation to the EC...they are in one of the toughest groups (Portugal, Serbia, Finland, Belgium...).

I have no real opinion about Domenech signing for another 2 years (still not sure it's 2 years, but that should be it). I think he is better skilled at guiding his players with his spirit than at coaching (choosing the players and making substitutions). But there were far worse coaches during this WC (Pekerman anyone ? Parreira anyone ?).

We meet Italy again on September 6, at the Stade de France ! Materazzi will be whistled for the whole match if he plays, you can count on that.

I was at a stadium once again, with many friends, it was supposed to be a night for party, and it ended through the absolutely worst way.
Must feel like my '74, you'll get over it.

I like your personal observations in the other bullits and in the last one you precisely describe why France failed to be the better team.

"... to be the winning team." would be my opinion.
