They just reported in the Firaxis chat that the 1.21f European patches are going in to testing on Monday.

Yeah I saw that too, but this way means that I can also run two different civ3's at the same time!

Two games at once, a Civ Fanatics Dream...

Thanks man...

They also said that they were starting on a new patch, so nice to know that they realise they didnt fix everything in one patch I dont think...

Imagine if your car is broken and the take it to a mechanic. They keep you waiting for a couple of months and then give you your car back. They also tell you to bring it back in 2 weeks so that they can fix the rest of it...

I dont trust the cracks that I have seen - an internet aware program like ptw is a bit dangerous to install imo.
Call me stupid (please!), but why is that?
Also saw this from way back and I posted next and completely ignored it. Some people (paranoid geeky types) beleive that games/programs that access the internet might contact their manufactorers and tell that about your nefarious (read illegal, immoral and probably unhygenic) activities and send the US round (read Micro$oft) to take your ass and lock it the fuck up...

Answer your question dude?

If you use a firewall there is no reason to let PTW have internet access at all.

This is a good free one:
