CDZ summer gathering
Now that I've moved we've got plenty room to have a gathering at my place! The only disadvantage is that Dutchmen(!) might find Groningen too far away, but nevertheless, here's my attempt to organize it anyway.
Last couple of times not that many people were coming to the gatherings, but I reckon that's also because there are quite a few now. It would be fun to get a bigger group (10-15 people) together this time. (Though if we are with four we'd have a great time anyway.) But here's a poll on the feasibility of it all. Here is my home, by the way. Literally a few yards away from a railway station. Edit: Proposed date: July 19 [u](Probably) coming</u> Beam Darkness Matrix NHJ Plux ProPain Rik Meleet Shabbaman Stapel (only friday) [u]Unsure / Waiting for confirmation</u> Melifluous [u]Directions</u> Coming from A7 (Weg der Verenigde Naties): - Take the exit Groningen-Zuid - Take the roundabout Vrijheidsplein 3/4 to Laan 1940-1945 (N73) Coming from A28 (Julianaweg): - At the Julianaplein turn left and keep right - Take the exit Bedum - Take the roundabout Vrijheidsplein 1/4 to Laan 1940-1945 (N73) - Turn right to the Pleiadenlaan - Turn left to the Zonnelaan (traffic lights at a shopping centre) - Turn the first right to the Eikenlaan - Turn right to the Kastanjelaan (road divided by a grass strip, later changing into the Noorder Stationstraat) - Turn left to the Van Oldenbarneveltlaan (right behind the train station) - Our house on the corner of the Van O.-laan and the Heinsiusstraat on the first right Note: the last two steps are a little different on the map. In case you're lost, my phone number is +316 1412 5582.

I'm interested and will try to come.
Depends on the date of course. Just took a look and it is slightly above 300 km for me, so the meeting being in Groningen wouldn't be the problem...

Could be fun but :
- vacations + job is a first timer for me, still unclear at the moment ; - Groningen is already far from Breda and Den Haag, so it could be too far away from Paris ; - money will be a serious issue in a few weeks' time for me (new for me as well !). Not voting for the moment, I'll keep an eye on this. Meh, first time I see words I type redlined. Because of the new Firefox version I guess. And nearly all of them are redlined (English).

Alright!!
What would be a good date? Somewhere in the middle of august, or just before/after the holiday? In the first case people don't have to work, but might be on (another) holiday. In the second case people might not be able to come because of work. Though if it's in a weekend that might not matter.
