The F6 screen

OK, playing my first game now... The game looks nice. Some annoying features (no automatic boarding of ships in Europe, etc.), but overall it seems really like a nice game.

Question:
On the F6 screen I see myself accumulating Political, Exploration, Trade, Religion and Military points.

What are the factors influencing this accumulation of points?

Political: Liberty bells, building PolPoints in colony ?
Exploration: Exploring land and ocean ?
Trade: Buying and selling goods ?
Religion: Cross production ?
Military: Combat ?
