Any luck, killercane?

I also have a router and what made it to work here is making my computer DMZ Host (i.e. all posts are routed to me), and putting Control Web Access on enable. Of course different routers may have different settings, but I don't know what half the options mean, so I just tried something out. You could try the same.

Well guesswork is my style too. Finally got it working with Himachi and it was pretty darn easy. So if everyone wants to do the Himachi thing then its on. Only Simon has tested so far, but if anyone else wants to test I will leave this test game up for a while and see about the feedback.

The Himachi network is CDZ Test, pw is cdz. Then just use that network address to log in.

If it works, there's no need to test it. No need to make a new network since we can use the same one as for the new pitboss.

All there's left for Beam is to send the savegame to killercane and we're set.

Someone's going to have to explain this himachi thing to me then... I've no clue how to get that one going (in all honesty I'd prefer to play without the himachi thing, but if everyone else is OK with it then I won't be a spoilsport...

You can download it here. If gives people fake IP addresses. When you join someone's network you can see what his/her IP address is and use it to log on with Civ4.

You'll understand it fully once you have installed it.

Its the only way to get it going unfortunately unless someone else can host. I tried for quite some hours to get the regular direct ip working to no avail, so Himachi is the last ditch effort.

You need the admin password to load the game in PB.
