Propain is married!
She actually said YES
Weather over beautiful Slot Zeist was kind, a bit cold but that was no problem. The dayguests arrived arround 2 o'clock to see Hilco and Monique arrive in a friends jaguar. They both looked great!! Everyone was led into a magnificent room where in a 30-minute ceremony the official part of the day was held. Monique's good friend held a great speech there, and after that they gave the vows and the kiss. The next part was champagne and weddingcake in yet another part of the slot (castle like). there were some 50 people there. The group was then split up into the "core" and the rest. The "core" being family, best men ect. The rest, including me, went for a rather lousy meal in Zeist-town. Lousy, because we had to find some place where 23 people could eat in roughly one and a half hours. We all had to be back in the slot by eight. I heard later that the food for the bride and groom at the slot was excelent! The party kicked in at nine as Hilco and Monique rushed the dancefloor and showed their...ahem...skills. Soon, the rest followed as well and ties and jackets were hung away for a more relaxed athmosphere. Beer came in bigger quantities as well! The music was taken care of by a band with two great female singers. After this, 1 o'clock in the (icecold) night, Hilco and Monique left the slot with the rest applauding. They had an hotel close by. It was clear that they had enjoyed this special day for them immensly and that is great! I am very confident they will make a fine couple who will happily grow old together making a lot of babies in the process. For myself, it was an hours drive back to Eindhoven with the GF driving and Schip ammong others in the backseat. Great day!
