Ahum, mainly cause of the first couple of turns. Had to increase lux 10% 1st turn and another 10% 2nd turn while stabilizing the front and regroup. I plan to take 1, maybe 2 Iroq cities and settle for peace.

As long as you're not close to a city with vital resources or luxuries when you want to stop. If that's the case I'd say it is a good idea to continue

Hehe, with the extra luxes WW is not a real issue anymore.

780 AD (9):
Capture Niagra Falls. Sell all improvements and abandon it. Salamanca can be attacked from Grand River as well and with a little luck we will have GR next turn.

Sell Met. to Aztecs for 67gpt!

IT:
3 Cavs attack, we lose 2.
Utrecht completes the Pentagon.

Skannayutenate flips with troops in it. Border city and just before a settler was arriving there. We can retake it but why could it not wait another turn?

790 AD (10):
Recapture Skannayutenate. Sell everything, move settler in place and abandon / settle.

Capture Grand River, Leo is Dutch!

Capture Kente.

This where I stop. Just to give the next player full opportunity to continue until the IT. Some suggestions:
- Abandon Tonawanda after the settler near Hilversum has moved in position.
- Abandon Tyendenaga entirely.
- Rush a bunch of Cavs. Plenty of cash and we are running a surplus

And some good news: Iroqs don't have Horses anymore!

Absolutely great job Beam If anarres can take it I'd be happy, but I could also try to take it from here (as from Tuesday I expect).

Thanks Aggie .

Just in case someone wonders what is N of the pic: a lot of nothing being resettled by the Dutch.

I started assembling workers for RR'ing in Utrecht and other cities already. I just remember I forgot a couple of them fortified in the SE.

anar, have fun!

I guess that the Iroquois are selling their horses, because they should have some. The also have two irons close to our borders that can be taken from them.

We are average compared to the Iroquois and combined with the fact that the human is superior in warfare I strongly suggest to start building banks and universtities now.

By the way: we have a MA with Portugal vs the Iroquois. No peace for 10 turns at least! That should be enough to hurt them a bit

Leaving our core cities empty before the time of rails is very risky. An AI could drop a number of units next to a city and it's lost. I recommend to keep a number a units back. The AI really improved their marine landings!

I think we should keep on hammering the AI until attacking them becomes real costly because of the Rifleboys. I've lost most units in the IT until now and not in our own attack. The Iroqs might have it soon and I really hope we are near Henry by that time.

I am not really concerned about marine invasions atm. The AI on our island is just busy with survival and we are friendly with all others.

My battleplan was / is to secure an East - West front, then rush S.

anar will most likely notice, here the tip anyway:
Allegheny can only be attacked starting in friendly terrain out of Salamanca, so we prob. need to hold it one turn longer.
