I posted the wrong spoiler here, so I quickly replaced it with "a", before grahamian could accidentially read it. Then I replaced "a" with the correct spoiler. Only half as mystical and sexy as you guessed, eh?

No, so much more mystical and sexy!

By the way, I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but you have played this one almost exactly as I would (ideally).

I am pleased with my game so far at least. It is uncommon for me to settle that close and to build a worker so soon. It seems to pay off.

no worries grs, I didn't see anything this one looks like its going well for you. You may want to consider going for a chariot/settler/settler pump instead of the warrior/settler. Just have to start the cycle with a chariot @ 4.5, then a settler @ 5.5, and then again at 5 (which brings you back to 4.5 when complete). Chariot -> horseman upgrades are cheaper than warrior -> sword

Contra: I upgrade warriors to GS instead of normal swords.
Pro: I did not find my iron yet...

good points. the economics of it are:

1 chariot upgrade = 30g
1 GS upgrade = 90g
