Prince is also fine with me, that way we should not have any false starts.
The way I see it, is to have 2 continents. on each there is a human player and 2 AI. It is probably a good Idea to have the continents a bit crowded... How you deal with the AI is the interesting part of the game, use them as partners, or got get them to get a better territory? That's where the fun is. Should we post there settings in the mapmaking forum? Or do you prefer a random map?

Either is fine but if akots has time it might be better since he can make sure one of us isn't alone on a continent which has happened to me before and that's pretty rough.

I can start the game if you wish. Just to check it out and assign the passwords. It is substantially easier with a new patch.

OK then, I'll fire it up probably today at night. No adjustments, only to make sure that continents are of similar shape/area and 1 human + 2 AI are on each continent. I'll let you know though if continents can be reached before Astronomy. This might be a critical issue for the game play. Otherwise, Prince level, Standard size map, medium to high sea level since barbu wanted it to be rather crowded. Anything else, let me know please.

OK guys, here is the save.
Download Attachment: Whompvsbarbu_BC-3960_to_Whomp.zip 36.3KB I've not edited the map but playtested it to about 1000BC. It is not that crowded like it can be but it is pretty intense. Whomp moves first, he is Caesar Second moves AI which is Napoleon Third moves barbu who is Catherine Then move three remaining AIs - Huyana Capac, Hatshepsuth, and Elizabeth. Level Prince, all other settings default including victory conditions and barbarians. Your continents are pretty far away, so it will be a long game at least till Astronomy. Have fun and keep the spoilers going!
