Let's make it Kutvocaat then. Thanks for the suggestion.

Have you heard the news that Crapvocaat will leave the Dutch Soccer Association for a position at the Dutch Railways? He'll be responsible for the "Wissels".

Hm, that doesn't exactly sound like a decent job for him. He seems to pull the wrong levels at the wrong time...
But hey, he might die in a railroad accident

Turn 64: the world as we know it
I've settled Kutvocaat this turn. Not on the spot I wanted, but guess what? The unit NE of Kutvocaat is escorting a Roman settler... I've got another settler SE of Lucky, below the swordsman. I think I'll settle on the hills where my spear is now. Or would it be a better idea to move east into the desert? I've got a new settler ready next turn anyway. Sjompieville completed a temple this turn. As you can see, the map is getting kind of full. Maybe I should build a barracks in Shabbaville and start building up forces. Lucky or RoE could produce settlers in that case.

Your next town could also be called Wissel. By the way: I assume that the Romans are dead soon

That is the battleplan, yes... I'm thinking about killing them now, while they're on my territory. They only got warriors so far, my military advisor tells me I've got a stonger military. I'll do some spying first next turn (not researching anything atm, so enough money for that).

Aren't you plannig to revolt to some decent government before going for Golden Age?
Killing Rome now would autorase some of their size 1 cities also. And IMO Rome never builds any culture untill late in the game. By allowing these cities to grow for a while, you would be able to capture them saving you a couple of settlers to build. If F3 guy tells you your military is stronger, there should be little resistance indeed...

Good points, thanks. A "decent government" is pretty far off unfortunately. I'm not doing research, and the portuguese and romans aren't that advanced either. I'm not really sure what's east of the desert, but settling that way doesn't sound appealing. The portuguese are in a better position for that anyway.
Okay, I might loose those size one cities, but I could secure the peninsula. Besides, I've got a settler factory, but no space to settle. I could take out the portuguese instead of the romans of course. Hm.
