I suppose this is why the deoderant for 3.03 and 2.13 has finally appeared.
It does make you wonder if the Firaxis folks factor that in. But then again, once the v1.0 gets deodorized, really it's only the multiplayer folks that are truly prevented from playing without the CD.

well, one thing that is not on the list but has been fixed:

fixed bug in advanced start where player can not place items

and one thing un-fixed that in the previous patch WAS OK:

un-fixed blue screen crash for no good reason
- game will now crash for no apparent reason, this event is not reproducable by reloading.

Doesn't this make UN wins tedious?

Fixed bug where new cities would not get power unhealthiness from the Three Gorges Dam

Also, I played an SG this morning and can confirm that no buildings in the list will show thier cultural benefit (ie, temple only shows +1 happy, nothing about +1 culture). Once built, you can see the culture they are adding.

I installed the patch, and now I have frequent crashes when I want to load a game. I didn't see crashes this many crashes with the previous versions, and I have never had crashes with warlords. Somehow this doesn't look like an improvement.

From C3C? Definitely not

I patched and the 12-15 turns I played worked fine, but that doesn`t mean anything.

The very first deoderant release would do this, they've release a second version already.

Unfortunately I can't get it to start yet, msvcr71.dll errors. I've had this before which I cured by reinstalling .NET framework, but not had time yet.
