Stapel - if two of your numbers were swapped you would have the answer!
Email me or come on MSM and tell me what you think the rule is, or alternatively check your answer to see if you wrote down the numbers wrong...

What I did:
I didn't take a look at the pics on the top, just at the bottom ones. I added te vectors..... And just checked wether the result vectors were pointing left ot right..... That was too easy to be correct...

It isn't the right answer Stapel, but it's a good attempt.
And it certainly wasn't too easy to be correct. In fact, the rule is much simpler!

Darn. Sometimes the simple things seem to be the most difficult ones.
About the whore thang: well, I both suck at and suck for certain things, but money is usually not involved. In that regard I'm just an enthusiast amateur. Oh, and I was refering to your math degree.

Keep working on it. I also posted this in the Advanced Maths Problem thread at CFC and someone got it after hints. If you really want to know the answer go look there (but don't post it here, I want to see if someoen can get it).

This is driving me nuts.
Just a question: suppose there is a square in the bottom and it is exactly the same as a square left (lets say). Would that mean that it automatically goes left because of the rule?

If it is *exactly* the same then yes, it would go in the same side. But that's really looking for a 'trick' question, and it isn't a trick.
