in my experience, if I encounter people like that and think of ways to annoy them, I tend to be way betzter at shrugging them off. sometimes, I actually do stuff like that - if they try to play that game with me they shouldn't be surprised if I play it with them. Made my civil service OK, as the assholes learned to back down from harassing the newbie - the newbie was better at harrassing them after all

I agree with you in general terms but you were suggesting a very "physical" solution, these should be used ONLY with people who already try to physically impress you or use dirty tactics...
I had ppl try to use these tactics on me but I can tell you it dont work at all and its much easier to counter than sneakier, *fishy* tactics (which I am an expert at btw)
