done 5. Can you guess which civ's have been eliminated? (hint, only one, but how many towns do the others have left?)
Will wrap it up tomorrow, no need for anyone else to slog thru it |

That must be Arabia. You could have captured all remaining cities on the American mainland, that leaves them with San Fransisco (I think). The Persian capital in the south is at sea, that's an easy amphibious assault. So, from the top of my head, that leaves Persia with 2 inland cities and a tiny one on some island.

Preflight check: Jack up cpt to 30%. We have 8006g, we don't really need much more gpt.
Move 1 destroyer next to Philly and bombard. Change Riverside to a Cav, I don't care about growing anymore. Upgrade 2 caravels, 2 Frigates, and 1 Galleon Move some units out of the mainland towards Persia. Move 8 inf and 3 cannons towards Aztec's last town. Buy Gandhi's WM for 10g just to make sure Saladin didn't slip out a settler. IBT: T1: 1811 AD Destroyers, Bombers and fighters make Philly a cakewalk. Also start doing some damage on the next 2 Persian targets. Get 208g and a worker for our trouble. Rush a theater in Tarsus Rush a forge in Vitros IBT: Gandhi completes Rock N Roll T2: 1812 AD Bomb Chicago to 0%, ditto for other towns in range. Move units next to Saladin so I can finish him next turn (3LB,2CA,1Mace) IBT: T3: 1813 AD DoW on Saladin, take city + 107g, kill the Arabs. Attack Persepolis, all goes well except I don't have enough units and a pesky cannon kills 2 infantry. Should be takable next turn. Move next to Arbela Rush Synagogue in Tarsus IBT: Arty slams into Khoisan (newly captured Arab city) Roosevelt offers truce, no T4: 1814 AD Take Arbela + 231g, lose nothing. Take Persepolis + 264g, lose nothing IBT: T5: 1815 AD Capture Chicago + 153g, losing nothing We are at 73/57.44 IBT: Lo Po born in BurgerKing T6: 1816 AD Move next to Gordium, but cannot take it this turn. Lo Pi heads for Persia IBT: T7: 1817 AD Take Gordium for no losses + 144g Capture San Fran and Destroy America IBT: T8: 1818 AD Interesting, 6 Grens and 1 Cannon show up at the gates of Pasargadee. Very suprising . Kill it. Learn something new. I can rebase planes into Ganhdi's cities! IBT: T9: 1819 AD Create Great Work in Persepolis, we are now at 65% It's also 12:20AM, and I need sleep I am tired so I stop here (Thursday night). Also, here's the save just before victory. (can't do it, too big , I can post it at CFC if you want it) IBT: Friday = dealing with hard-headed Austrians all day, Friday night = taking kid's to local carnaval; After carnaval, Daddy gets 3 glasses into a bottle of wine and decides to do something else We win: |

Yeah, go team. Team that I dropped from. Still have not figured out what is going on, though it is not the power supply. Sorry for being a less than helpful team member. Ynnek was either being generous or not including me because I didn't play or post that much, but I was definitely a weaker player than the rest of you. I have not really taken the time to get well acquianted with Civ4.

Yippieh!!!! Although I never was in doubt we would win this, it feels good to finally have nmade it, although grahamiam is perfectly right, we were too tentative.
I already took a look into CFR thread, one important thing they made: they have let other grow cottages for the capital s.t. when the capital could grow again, it had a developed cottage to work... It was nice playing with you, I also learned a lot. bed_head, don't talk like we are a bunch of experts, I don't think you made more mistakes than any other of us when you played!
