Default New PBEM wanted...

Civ4 PBEMming is starting to grow on me...

Anybody interested in a new game, 1vs1 or a game with more humans? (or both?)
I have no preference really...

I've finally gotten a copy (borrowed, since the free one is nowhere to be seen), so I'd be in for a game, nice method to see how much I still remember, and how much has changed in the game. It would have to be at a quite relaxed tempo though I'm afraid as I usually can only play evening hours these days, and not every day. I hope that's not a problem...?

Maybe monarch level, continents, standard or large map, default AI number of opponents, and all standard settings?

I'm really not interested in playing a pbem, but if I have some time on, say, a friday night perhaps we could play simultaneous moves or something. Haven't tried that with civ4 yet.

That seems good to me.
I'd prefer standard over large sized map, BTW. I think a large map would lead to a very, very long build-up until something actually happens with both human players.
Any leader preference?

Unfortunately friday night is not possible for me...
But the idea is nice. Any other nights an option (wednesday and friday are impossibles for me)?

Since I hate playing against him, my first choice pick would be Mansa Musa.

btw, most pbem games are done using pitboss sessions I assume? I'm really a newbie with regard to pitboss since it didn;t come along with the first release of the original game.

Well then, let's just look when the opportunity arises. I'm short on time during the week anyway, but perhaps some weekend is possible (although not in the very near future, I'm afraid). But then perhaps we could just as well arrange a 4 player (or whatever) game, no doubt there's interest. The only problem is probably finding a date.

Kemal, Darkness, can I join? (Don't feel oblidged to say yes.)

Kemal, the more players, the more convenient Pitboss is in contrast to PBEM. But with two to four players I think PBEM is easier. Especially since Pitboss is still in it's beta stage.

Pitboss is probably another thing that won't work nicely until you've bought Warlords. I'm beginning to feel myself drawn into Shabbaman's anti-Firaxis camp.

I'll be Qin Shi Huang then...

Pitboss? Haven't used it so far actually...

@Matrix: Like I said in the opening post: I don't have a preference about 1vs1 or multihuman. Let's wait and hear/read what Kemal thinks...

@Shabba: Weekends are possible, but just like on your side, not in the near future. A 4-man game would be gun indeed, if we can agree on a date...
