Looking for a PBEM game

Was wondering whether anyone would care to join me in a game now that I seem to have sorted out my free time enough to play reliably regularly. I wouldn't describe myself as an expert player by any means, but hope that I should be able to pose at least some kind of a challenge

(Note that since I live in europe it would have to be a v1.14 game due to the evil machinations of Infogrames/Firaxis

)

I'm happy with anything apart from deity - I guess I'd prefer emperor since that's what I've gotten used to in SP games, though.

OK. Emperor sounds nice. Any other preferences?

I'd like:

- equal starting positions (not than one of us has 5 neighbours and the other zero)
- not Pangea
- not starting next to each other, too avoid very early conflict/defeat
- no raging barbarians

by the way: Are you member of the ladder-competition?

All those are fine with me. Especially the barbarians part!

Can't think of anything I want add to that list, really.

And no, I'm not a member of the ladder-thingy. I didn't even know about it until today...

So, do we agree upon the following:

- emperor
- standard size map
- random civs
- 6 AI opponents
- no barbarians
- starting positions: no neighbours...

If so, then we can ask the people here to create a map...
