BtS PBEM 1vs1 with AIs - looking for opponent
Now that my life may return to normal next month I hope to be able to finally play some PBEMs again. I'd love to start a Beyond the Sword game against another player with limited experience - I have played about 5 games and much is still new to me in BtS.
I hope to be able to play a turn a day or more, but there will definately be 3-day breaks every second week from Wednesday to Friday when I will be in Berlin for work. Power Sessions are welcome, though, at nighttimes. Any volunteer out there for some ?

hey, that's great!
As for details: I am in China atm, no access to BtS. Can we wait until I get back home on Sept 30 to decide Civs? Level: I like Ais to be no total pushover, but also to be cannon fodder. As a compromise I usually play prince, or whatever the name of that supposedly 'even' level. Would that be OK? I think I would have some difficulties to adapt my playing to higher or lower levels due to the differences in happiness etc. Map settings: I think we should get a map maker, as random maps often suck. Should we let the map maker simply generate random maps until he likes one, then assign our starts and that's that? It would then be up to him whether it's continents or pangaea or archipelago etc.... We should also talk about exploits - which are allowed, which not? I heartily dislike constant whipping - it is obviously broken, so whipping should only be done 'within game spirits', that is to reapidly produce a defender when attacked etc. Not as a regular mode of production. OK so far?

so I am safely back from China and ready to roll!
May I suggest an 'advanced start' with say 900 or 1000 points? Jsut to speed things up? What Civ would you like to be? I'll pick Caesar, if you don't mind

Killer, if FailedReality does not reply, I'm looking for a game.
The settings you described are good for me. I'd like to try Charlemagne as a leader.
