Testing BtS pitboss...

No game password, IP address is <expletive deleted>. Pick any available civ, just please make sure your in-game name is vaguely similar to your CDZ or CFC nick and password your civ so I can mark you down as having tested successfully.

This server (and thus IP) is different than the one I'm putting up in the CFC OT forum, so please either test on this one or that one but not both. Each one has 16 open slots.

And successfully testing does not guarantee a spot in the BtS pitboss games I'm going to be running, but it is a prerequisite for signing up.

Also, please don't quote this post, I want to be able to edit out the IP later. Yes I'm paranoid, but it's either that or I can't run any pitboss games at all.

Edit: IP deleted, I'm taking this pitboss server offline for the moment.

How will you determine the people who play...first come first in or what?

I'm going to leave it up for at least a few days - no immediate reason to take it back down.

I don't know how I'm going to determine who plays. If the CDZ grouphug game finishes soon then I'll have another pitboss server, at which point I'll be able to do one CFC OT game, one CDZ game, and one tournament game (all BtS) - I can't imagine that we've got so many potential players as to turn anyone away from all of them.

I've ordered BtS off of BestBuy.com and selected store pickup (if you have it shipped to you it's backordered

). So when the store opens up in 3 hours and 15 minutes, my copy of it should be pulled off of the shelf and held for me until after work. I'll install it post haste and then check my connectivity
