Here are my preferred civs since I feel the need to handicap myself against you two.
1. Catherine 2. Kublai 3. Alexander pangea makes for better fights and no barbs is ok I guess.

Well then how about, standard size map cut up into 4 quadrants by rivers/lakes- doesnt wrap. This means you 2 wont be able to bumble your way through the game and put a bit of thought into it.
noble speed, barbs seeing as tubby wants them, locked alliances
