Default Season 33 - National Cup Round 4

First match at home.
A derby vs a team one league higher.

3 of my defenders were injured so I couldn't really do a defensive lineup which I first wanted to.

So I thught, I'd surprise him by going all out playing normal.
I was pretty surprised myself that I was able to field a brillant midfield, despite me not having a world class IM.

But the posession was 50-50 still.
But as I was winning to defense sides and 2 attacking sides, I finally won 5-2!
A great result with great ratings (and that despite me having sold my best IMs last year)

So, I am going to round 5 which seems pretty doable!

Kicked a 5th div team of my plate: 4-0 at home. Looks easier then it was.

Got an easy 0-6 win, securing the target of reaching round V in the cup. From now on the opponents will be tough, facing excellent to formi midfields while playing away...

I won 9-1. Looks like I will be able to PIC next week although he has a very good defence so I am not sure how I will play it yet.

I lost 0-2 to a division III team. Disapointing but expected.

I got rocked 0-8 by a div II team. What was especially frustrating was that he only missed two chances (one overconfidence and one in the 88th minute) despite my having reasonable defense. Even worse was the fact that despite playing counter-attacks and controlling the ball 23% of the time (my best midfielder was sent off early with a red card otherwise it should have been 40-45%) I didn't get a single chance. As he had poor very low defense, I figure I stood a good shot at scoring.

Figured I'd lose (HO only gave me 10% win 15% draw), but never figured anywhere near this badly.

I won easily, against a somewhat superior midfield (57% possession). But I love people who play AIM all the time. Next round I play another V team, away unfortunately. Seems like I won't have a home match this season. Again. Sigh.
