On Holiday 27/8/03 to 2/9/03

I'll be on holiday during this period. I think we're going to take my wife's laptop so I'll be able to play games, but probably not more than once a day, maybe twice. If I go a few days without playing, do not fear. I will return to crush all who oppose me in early september!

Well, made it safe and sound. Haven't had time to play any turns yet, but will hopefully get at least one for everyone tomorrow. In further news, got sideswiped at 75mph/125kph by a 53' long truck

. Here's a pic of the carnage. Of further note, the truck did not stop.
So it's a hit and run and it goes on my insurance.

Cruise: I didn't want a 450 or 550. The ride is too rough and a 350 suits my needs well. Since I have a kid, I need a back seat. Since I haul stuff in the back, I need an 8 foot bed.

That all adds up to a 22 foot truck!

I bet that trucks' registration plate was real small and super dirty so there's no way you could have gotten the number right ?
European plates are in huge letter (the UK's got the best ones) and always clean...

that and traffic was moving at 125kph...by the time I made sure my wife and son were ok, he was a mile up the road, and that's only 45 seconds....

I've been told by a couple of truck drivers I know that he may not have even felt it as the hit was on the trailer not the cab of the driver's truck....
