There is PB and CDZ cup. I'm not sure something is supposed to be actually happening.... I guess that game must needs to be finished, I'm not sure what the problem is. Somebody had to pick up the save and kill the REF. There is not much to kill though, so it might be possible to finish within one session or may be two.

I was already thinking about this game yesterday as I was thinking about what to do on the weekend. Haven't played Col since I was last playing this game, so maybe I'd screw it up badly. OTOH, this game might never finish otherwise. So if someone wants to continue, then go ahead, otherwise I'd probably play on Saturday or Sunday.
I don't like that there is no patch around but I'll probably try out some "inofficial patch"-mod in my next game.

I tried the unofficial patch, and it's OK. The lack of a good patch made me loose interest in col2. Stupid Firaxis.

1719 AD - Convert some units to Dragoons and Soldiers. Kill some REF units but lose a Dragoon.
IT: Dom Pedro helps us. We lose two cannons. 1720 AD - Kill the rest of the units but lose another one. 1721 AD - Kill one unit. 1722 AD - made peace with Monty. We can sell stuff in Tlatelco. It can be reached in one turn from Shabbaville. 1723 AD - Got Crabsilver back without any losses. 1727 AD (Turn 8) - Not much happening until here. But damn, I moved our Galleon directly next to a Man'O'War. Somehow this looks like a piece of cake if you look at the statistics attached...

Sure, the king cannot land more than 20 units at a time.

It's here.
Dale and Snoopy made it. I haven't tried it though. It is said to fix the most glaring bugs, but the real gameplay issues remain (such as the REF growth being solely dependent on the production of bells). Me too...

There are some balance mods as well, but I haven't looked into those.
