What if i have to do my turn now, because i have no time left till automatic switch over. Not that this is the case now, but what if. The rule I know is, that after 12 hours I am allowed to take my turn, regardless whether it's played or not by the opponent.

Thats not the rule i agreed upon at all, the rule which we agreed was for the other people to wait until the one person has completed the turn. 12 hours means that i have to have no life outside of civ as i have to be at my house, thats just not gonna happen

Maybe if it takes more than 12 hours for you to play, then you can pause the game once you get in Simon.

this shows why DM rules should not exist at all..play the game only with its coded rules.

I actually prefer having DM rules. Provides a little order to the game. And this should work out just fine as long as BC remembers to press the pause button, which with only 4 of us left isn't a big deal at all.

The fact we've been playing 3-5 turns a day most days before this more than makes up for any time delayed during a war.
