I bought it, but after half an hour I discovered I don't have the patience for a stealth game. Dishonored 1 was probably similar in that aspect, but I recall having a lot of fun with shadow step and backstabbing. So I guess I need to persevere until I unlock that perk. Unfortunately my time is consumed by Stellaris atm.

The graphics quality of Dishonored 2 was a major disappointment. It looks like a console port. Again, Dishonored 1 was probably similar in that aspect, but at the time xbone graphics were acceptable. Or maybe the cartoon graphics doesn't work well with the improved lighting. I don't know.

For me, it is the opposite. I was running out of patience in my first Dishonored playthrough. But then, after few months, I got back to it and actually was having a lot of fun. Played the whole thing 4 or even 5 times, mostly very high chaos, it sure is gory and enjoyable, can be creative with multitude of murder tools given to Corvo. The game is actually quite difficult at first, there is some learning curve.

With Dishonored 2, I had zero graphical issues but used medium settings since it gives me 30-40 fps on my 760 GT. Beginning of the game is super easy on any difficulty and does not require patience provided that you understand the game mechanics. You can take the rail and get to the ship in about 2 minutes. But the art, the atmosphere, music, voice overs, it all is very good. I have 100% absolute immersion and just could not pull myself out of it. Clockwork mansion is simply brilliant, Stilton's villa is a masterpiece. Other areas mostly good and very immersive. IMHO, it is less cartoonish that D1 for me. Mechanics are a bit different, so some relearning is required for very hard.

Also, the game is not long even running low chaos no kills, I've made two missions per one session, maybe 3 hours, maybe 4. And you can just waltz through the whole thing in a single 3-4-hour session for high chaos in NG+.

Definitely well worth $30 I paid.
