so someone was trhowing a load of flares and three chaff out of his plane again....

reminds me of a headline I once read in Killeen, Tx.

UFO sightings coming Monday

no, they were not nuts, they knew the Army would do nightime artillery fire exercises, using parachute-flares to illuminate the range. And thus they knew that the local UFO hotlines would collapse that night
