Not my fault here.
At least not with this one.

Hello
sorry for being away for so much time i've no more personnal computer as i have moved away from home. I'll be able to play again in something like 2 weeks, until this time, you can either play my turn with a replacement player or skip it. See you later

So what will we do? I myself don't mind to wait two weeks, but with this pace, we might as well quit, because we will never finish this game.

Unfortunately, I think you're right (the lack of replies on your posts kinda shows as much), we will never finish this game, maybe killing it off is indeed the best thing to do.
With civ4 coming up, I'm pretty sure epic c3c PBEMs, such as the swimming pool, will never get the interest they deserve anymore, simply because civ3 will look and feel inferior compared to civ4, and people will likely no longer want to spend their free time on obsolete stuff. That said, I've enjoyed the game a lot up until now, and I'd just as happily go on playing, if others would like to continue. However, I cannot promise as much dedication as I think this game should have been getting.

I really would like to continue the game and see no problem playing it in paralel with IV. I can understand your reasoning however but would very much regret if you decide to quit. In any case we must find a solution for the frequent delays, maybe a permanent replacement player or an option to pass the turn?
This issue isn't related to just this game, all multiplayer PBEMS suffer from these delays.

I don't really care, I prefer to continue anyway, but I won't sulk if people don't want to. I'm not supposed to tell my opinion about this each time someone holds the save for more than a week BTW...
