It was kind of funny.

The presenter overdid it a bit in the way he "sold" the message, IMHO. He wasn't nearly as funny as he himself thought he was.

It's certainly different from the usual lecture about computer security. Now I just have to make sure that I anyone steals my computer they also steal my router and keep them together as that is what's running the DNS updater!

I read a post on a forum where someone suggested to have your puter get a script from a server on startup and execute the command. You can leave it blank normally but put commands in the script when your box get stolen.
