I know the downside of swiss system is, that low teams make no money. But one could use it for the final stage where the lower teams play each other anyways: so, my proposition:
group stage with 5 groups of 6 (5 games) top 16 make 4 KO-rounds next 8 do a 4 week swiss system last 6 do a 4 week swiss system (one could combine the last two groups for a 4-week swiss system of 14 teams while one may count the games of the group stage) i know a program where one can avoid double matches in the swiss system.

As I understand it, the CDZ Cup will start in 2 weeks, right ? So we still have one week to decide. Why not wait for 2 other teams to come here ? Should be feasable.

No, it will start next week (after league match 7) as always...otherwise we'd just have 8 games.

That means don't make any friendlies until you find out who you should play. I almost scheduled one... and then I thought.

Group E looks pretty tough. Group B has both BCLG AND Robboo

Snaken will be aiming for place 20-30 this season, Group E is way too tough for my new passing training scheme.

Tubby, you forgot I was also in group B making it an exceptionally easy group to dominate with 3 weak teams. On the other hand, it means that one of us is going to walk away a victory in the group stage. I'm looking forward to possibly getting my 2nd ever friendly win personally.

Ah OK, I got confused. So I'm waiting for Kemal to post that the draw is complete. Not in a hurry anyway...

What the f*ck another goal for this season that I am not oing to reach. All five teams in my group (E) are clearly better than mine, I am going to get creamed there. Well at least I will have good atendance.
