Time for a quick update as we were able to move along the fast early turns quite fast.

I am very happy with the Map but also my game, those traits are just amazing ! I have to adapt to Agri though and made a few very minor MM mistakes (wrong worker moves)
Based on my map request I am confident I can run a farmers' gambit for a while. I will have 2 settler factories (dont believe I follow anarres' advice) to use both cows. I wanted to first build a few cities before investing in the 2nd granary.
Notice the strange build order of a Pyramids for a Sid level game !
Its a surprise I will tell you more about later

Still no contact at all...but the map could be real interesting and fun. And NO wonder completion yet at this very late date
Looks like an amazing map ! My scouting warrior went on a crazy isthmus exploration binge !
At first I followed the mountains : I always hop from mountain to mountain (or hill) whenever I can even I think its the end of the isthmus. And I had that though 10 times by now so I am just going on
Am just praying this the only land way to my lands, that would be just great !

Those wheats can be taken with 2 cities distance <= 13. On a large map that really isn't very far.

Also it is really only the rank corruption you need to worry about. Assuming you get about 10-12 cities in your little capital area you are still under 1/2 OCN (was 24 in Civ3/PTW but is now increased), so cities there shouldn't be amazingly corrupt.

We are at turn 50.

Here are a few pictures, I will need to add comments later I have no time right now...

The isthmus went on and its a real one !
I meet the Koreans in 2050, of course they are up all know techs.
Check out this horrible mono price

Here is F11 at 1950BC :

And here is the situation just 2 turns before my min sci on Alpha ends,
its going good, next up is max on writing. I have my 2 4-turn settler factories ready...
And trying to use the agri trait to the max by settling on fresh water.
I went for a city by the 3 wheats with early rank, we never know...
I intend to block the ishmus to avoid the Koreans settling my way
but am tryin to meet another civ before...
still dunno what to do here. Except to go on with the farmers gambit

And look at how F11 is getting better, not 7th or 8th in some categories.
